Pinzolo is not a conventional ski resort but the main town of the Val Rendena and a 20-minute drive to the south of Madonna.

Pinzolo itself is a relatively small ski area but it shares a lift system with Madona di Campiglio, Folgàrida, and Marilléva which in total offer a ski area of 150km.

There is a single lift out of Pinzolo which can at times have a long queue. There is an excellent family park at the top of this lift for beginners. Intermediates have a number of blues to tackle in Pinzolo itself, as well as some challenging reds. There are many more blues and reds on offer in Madonna but getting there does involve taking a 16-minute ride on Pinzolo Campiglio Express gondola. The area is best suited to beginners and intermediates but advanced skiers still have plenty to challenge them. Over 20% of the runs in the area are blacks and there is some excellent off piste skiing available in Pinzolo, particularly from the top of the Malga Grual and Pra Rodont lifts.

>Pinzolo is much cheaper than it’s neighbour Madonna. There is a range of accommodation available for all budgets. A lot of the accommodation is excellent for families. Both Brescia and Verona airports are around two hours away by car.
